Breastfeeding, family life, paintings, baking and photographs, that should be kept in a locked box!! A great way to keep all things in one place!
Honey-Rae
Honey-Rae is the youngest of the bunch....perfectly Princess-like when looking in from the outside....with a fiesty alter-ego like her Mummy.
She is always referred to as small....although in reality she is now towering above her peers, must take after Mummy....Daddy is only 5'6'' compared to Mummy's 6ft....and Daddy has a 'short complex' to go with it!!
She is a clever, confident, fiesty little girl, who's main goal inlife is to be a real Princess, which she completely believes will become reality as soon as she starts Princess School at age 8. Her imagination is spectacular, a little like her Older and Not So Wiser 16 year old sister.
Early days with Honey-Rae were a struggle, breastfeeding only became a pleasure after 8 weeks of cracked nipples, thrush, blocked ducts and mastitis, which I now know is due to her undiagnosed Tongue Tie (Ankyloglossia). The lack of support spurred me on to become a Voluntary Breastfeeding Peer Supporter in 2007, when Honey-Rae was 5 months old.
Despite early problems, we went on to have a fabulous nursing relationship until an early self-wean at 22 months. I still miss that time we shared together now, the bond that is unlike anything else and that only a breastfeeding mum can know....at 4 years 7 months she is now more Daddy's girl than Mummy's.
